The Ramsey County Board of Commissioners unanimously approved the expansion of the living at Home Block Nurse Program. With the additional $30,000, Falcon Heights (using the Como Block Nurse Program), Hamline Midway, and Roseville communities will each have an opportunity to bring their programs on line. The County Board members feel that Living at Home Block Nurse programs are the " best bang for the buck".
The Ramsey County Board of Commissioners is considering litigation against BFI to assure delivery of trash to the Resource Recovery Project in Newport. The tonnage requirements are immense and the contractual agreement require BFI to assist in meeting those tonnage requirements.
