At the June 16, Board meeting, Janice introduced a resolution to adopt the "Ramsey County Votes With Pride" program. The program was created by the Election Unit of the Property Records and Revenue Department. The goals are a) Remind general voting age population of their right to vote and encourage them to exercise their right; b) Inform citizens with limited English language skills of their right to vote and find ways to make the voting process easier for them to participate; c) Educate school children about the voting process and encourage their participation when they reach voting age.
