Husband and WifeIf you are referred to Domestic Relations by the court for Mediation, and there is a history of Domestic Abuse in your relationship with the other parent, you may choose not to participate in mediation. During a custody and/or parenting time evaluation, you will be interviewed individually and need to have no contact with the other parent.

Exemption from Custody Mediation due to Domestic Abuse: MN Statute 518.619
