When you report to the Ramsey County Correctional Facility (Workhouse) you must:
- Be on time
- Be drug/alcohol free
- Bring your Commitment Order
Items you may bring:
- Tennis shoes
- Letters
- Money (cash or money orders only)
- Photographs (maximum size 4x6, no Polaroid photos)
- Prescribed medications or medical equipment
Do NOT bring:
Batteries | Radios, tape or CD players | Electric razor or trimmers | Jewelry & watches | Personal grooming items
Hair Weaves, Hair Extensions and Fingernail Extensions must be removed.
After you are admitted you will not be allowed to release property.
Note to family and friends: money, letters, pictures and shoes may be dropped off with the business office clerk during normal business hours.
If you are picking up someone being released, please wait in the parking lot.
Normal daily release time is at 7:00 a.m.
