Tom has been employed by the Ramsey Conservation District since February, 1981 and has served as the District's managing administrator and conservation technician. Tom has a B.S. from the University of Minnesota, majoring in Soil and Water Resource Management with an emphasis in Agricultural Engineering. He also has a Master's degree from Hamline University with an emphasis in Public Agency Administration and Public Policy Development. Tom is also an experienced BWSR trained wetland delineator/Wetland Conservation Act administrator MNDOT/UofMN certified erosion and sediment control inspector/installer/NPDES stormwater pollution prevention plan designer.

Tom oversees all aspects of the District's programs including: staff management, finance and accounting, annual reporting/planning, research and policy development, erosion and sediment control technologies, and enforcement of the MN Wetland Conservation Act in Ramsey County.

Ann joined the RCD in June, 2006 and is responsible for accounting and payroll functions, providing support for board activities, manages the RCD's website, assists with environmental education programs, reporting activities for BWSR grant funding, and manages the volunteer Rain Gauge Network for Ramsey County. She holds a B.S. in History with a minor in Psychology from Oregon State University and is currently pursuing a graduate degree.

Ryan Johnson

Ryan has worked at the RCD since November, 2005 and is responsible for Native Vegetation Cost Share Program. He has 6.5 years experience and a B.S. in Biology from University of Minnesota at Duluth. He is also certified by MnDot as an inspector/installer and landscape specialist. He has technical approvement authority from the NRCS and is a Wetland Delineator in-training for the State of Minnesota.

Mike began working at the RCD in 2007, with 7 years professional experience in GIS and Natural Resource Management. He manages GIS projects and Erosion Control enforcement on construction projects. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin/River Falls with a B.S. in Natural Resource Conservation and a minor in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). He holds a M.S. in GIS from Saint Mary's University.
