Ramsey County will pursue this goal and demand the same of other businesses that contract with the County, intending to use the economic power of the County to add to a more vital regional economy that benefits all small businesses, regardless of race or gender.
VENDOR CERTIFICATION:
The Central Certification Program (CERT)
Ramsey and Hennepin Counties, along with the cities of St. Paul and Minneapolis, sponsor the Central Certification (CERT) Program. CERT makes it easier for participating businesses to access jobs and contracts available with our Counties and Cities by providing a centralized certification process.

A business is not required to be certified to do business with Ramsey County, but the process is simple and free, so business people are encouraged to certify.

DemandStar is a registration system that allows Ramsey County to distribute information about bidding and contracting opportunities to potential vendors. The system allows users to download contracting documents and to submit quotes and bids electronically in a secured environment, eliminating the need to personally deliver a quote and/or bid.
