Election Judge Training Information

Election judge training sessions will begin in July for judges serving in the primary.  Training for General Election only judges will be in October.

Online Election Judge Training
Note: Requires Adobe Acrobat Reader Version 9 and above.  To download the latest version of Adobe Reader, please visit the Adobe website.  A broadband connection is recommended for completion of the online Election Judge training.

• 2012 Ramsey County Election Judge Training (could take a few (5-15) minutes to load, depending on Internet connection)
  Successful completion of this training equals 1 hour of Election Judge Training.  This is for judges who have signed up for a 1-hour in person training session.  If you have questions, please contact our office.
  
• 2012 Equipment Training (could take a few (5-10) minutes to load, depending on internet connection)
  This supplemental training is for head and registration judges who have signed up for a 1-hour in person training session, and should be completed in addition to the 2012 Election Judge Training above.  If you have questions, please contact our office.

NOTE: If the training files above are taking a long time (more than 10 or 15 minutes) to download, or will not download, you can watch the videos on the Ramsey County Elections YouTube Channel.  Precinct judges should watch through video 7 (Closing the Polling Place).  Head and registration judges should watch through video 9 (Opening and Closing the AutoMARK). 2012 Training Materials
The Reference Guide will help you to learn our election laws and procedures.  We encourage election judges to read and become familiar with this document prior to Election Day.
