Board of Commissioners Authorizes Vadnais Sports Center Purchase

The Ramsey County Board of Commissioners authorized the purchase of the Vadnais Sports Center. The closing on the property is anticipated on or before June 30, 2014. In 2014, the County will incorporate energy retrofits, such as lighting improvements and a variable speed motor for the facility's sports dome that will run only when pressure drops. These measures will dramatically reduce energy consumption.
