Metropass Program
Metropass is an excellent transit benefit offered to all full-time and regularly scheduled part-time Ramsey County employees. The pass is a subsidized monthly bus pass, good on all regional transit system routes 24 hours a day, seven days a week, offered for $41.50 a month. Retail value is $115, reflecting a savings of nearly 70%!

Ramsey County Park & Shuttle Program
Through an agreement with Allright Parking, Ramsey County full-time and regularly scheduled part-time employees can take advantage of discounted parking rates at 390 East Kellogg Boulevard (beneath the Lafayette Bridge) and then take a shuttle to work. The monthly cost for both parking and shuttle rides is only $35.00. Employees not interested in the shuttle option may choose to pay $25.00 a month for parking only.

Ridesharing Information
Carpooling and vanpooling allow participants to divide driving costs and responsibilities, making the trip to work less expensive and more relaxing. Carpools with at least two people and vanpools with at least five people traveling to work together at least three days a week can obtain preferential parking and other benefits.
Walking/Biking
Walking and biking to work are two of the easiest forms of commuting. Is your worksite too far away? Consider walking or biking for part of your commute and make this your exercise routine! And remember, all Metro Transit buses and trains have bike racks, so you can combine busing and biking as a commute option.
Guaranteed Ride Home
Do you bus, carpool, vanpool, bike or walk to work three or more times a week? If so, you are eligible for the Guaranteed Ride Home program.
