The primary groups we serve are: children, families and seniors; people who have low incomes; are homeless; have developmental, mental or physical disabilities; or are chemically dependent.
We provide programs and services in the areas of public assistance, employment support, day care, social services, child and adult protection and clinical counseling. Our Department also provides community based services.
Highlighted Programs and Projects
The Ramsey County Community Human Services Department (CHS) annually administers and delivers services to approximately 80,000 residents of the county. 2010 Annual Report

Building strong communities through Adoption and Foster Care is part of the Permanent Families Recruitment Project.
