Mark Proctor currently serves as the Co-Chair for the Ramsey County Children’s Services Review Panel (RCCSRP). He has served on the panel since January 2006. Mark decided to get involved in the community to help ensure that all children have a safe, permanent nurturing home in which to grow. Mark has also served as a volunteer Guardian ad Litem for abused and neglected children in the court system since 1996. Mark states “I have learned so much about our child welfare system by serving on the RCCSRP; I really feel I can make a difference on behalf of children through my involvement on the panel. We evaluate which programs and services are working for children and what needs improvement, then we present our findings and fact based recommendations in a written report to the Ramsey County Board and to the Minnesota Department of Human Services. I strongly encourage anyone interested in children’s issues to consider getting involved with this important panel.”
