The Vision of the Community Human Services Department Anti-Racism Initiative is to create a multicultural, anti-racist organization that eliminates race and culture based disparities for our clients and employees
Since 2001, the ARI has changed the racial and cultural make up of our staff and leadership, bringing multi-cultural views to decision making. The ARI has begun to change outcomes for people of color who live in Ramsey County. It continues to address the impact of race and ethnicity in delivery of human service programs. The ARI is looked to statewide for leadership on anti-racism and diversity efforts.
