The Law Library has extensive collections of print and electronic resources. The collections support federal, state and local legal research. Many materials are also available for the general public needing basic resources on legal issues that affect their day-to-day lives. For more detail, go to Finding Legal Information.
Our electronic Westlaw service is available free of charge but must be used in the library.
Services
Borrowing Materials
Licensed attorneys, judges and Ramsey County Government employees may borrow books and other print items. Most items are available for a 2 week loan. The general public may borrow self help materials from the law library.
Photocopier
Our photocopier makes single-sided copies at 15 cents per page. Other copying charges: $4.00 staff charge for 1-40 pages; $8.00 staff charge for 41-80 pages. Postage charges also apply.
Computer Printouts
Computer printouts are also 15 cents per page.
Fax
