- Protect public Environmental Resources by making better choices--Reducing pesticide use, planting rain gardens, planting community food gardens. This can Reduce public costs.
- Grow their own Local, Healthy Food
- Increase their quality of life & that of ALL citizens--including traditionally underserved audiences
