Master Gardeners attend the Horticulture 1003 class at the University of Minnesota, and commit to volunteering 50 hours in their home county. See the "Services and Projects" link for more information about their projects. After their first year, Master Gardeners volunteer 25 hours minimum and complete 12 continuing education hours to maintain their certification.
