The 2016 Master Gardener Extension Class will be conducted at the University of Minnesota Landscape Arboretum in Chaska on Friday and Saturdays beginning January 8 and ending February 6. You may take the class online from the first week of January through early May. Interns may choose to take the course online, in-person or a combination of both. One module per week will be presented, but interns can work at an accelerated pace and finish early.

Class fee is normally $575, but accepted Master Gardener interns pay only the materials fee of $275 and may choose to take the class either online or in-person. There is also a 30.00 fee required for the background check.  (The online class meets weekly, but students may choose to move faster, as modules are posted well in advance.) Very limited financial assistance is available.

Want to take the class for personal enrichment (and not volunteer)? Visit the above class page in November and select the 'ProHort Students' button on left. Full fees apply.
