Ramsey County Care Center Golf Tournament
This annual event has been one of our more successful fundraising efforts. Participants enjoy 18 holes of golf, dinner and an awards ceremony with great prizes. Many local businesses and organizations donate raffle items to make this event fun for all. Everyone involved works hard to make this event a success, and the residents of the Ramsey County Care Center benefit from all of their hard work.
Pride Drive
One of the things our residents are most proud of is their military service for the United States of America. To honor these men and women, the Ramsey Nursing Home Foundation sells flags to be flown at the Care Center on Memorial Day. A poster with a little flag can be purchased in honor of a military member, past or present, and will be displayed in the Care Center’s lobby. U.S. flags will line the parking area of the Care Center. Its a very powerful display for all to see.
Spaghetti Dinner and Silent Auction
This event is a favorite among residents and their families. The evening is filled with good company, great food and entertainment. This is Ramsey County Care Center’s Nutrition departments evening to shine. Diners have time before, during and after the meal to bid on many silent auction items. Auction items are donated by staff, residents, area businesses and community members and raise a significant amount of money. It has become a great social event that is being talked about as a "must go" event.
Light the Tree
Each year the Ramsey County Care Center has a festive week for decorating the home. Residents, families and staff work together to capture the holiday spirit. The Ramsey Nursing Home Foundation sponsors one of the Christmas trees, which is placed in the front lobby. Light bulbs, purchased to remember, honor or appreciate loved ones, are placed upon the tree in dedication. Light bulbs are sold at the Care Center and at several community locations.
