Ramsey County has more than 6,300 acres of parks, open space, trails and recreation areas used for many activities including golf. Private and group golf instruction is available for all levels of golfers who want to learn the game. Golf provides an outdoor recreation activity for people of all ages and abilities. Announcement: The 55-station lighted practice/driving range at the Ponds at Battle Creek Golf Course is CLOSED until further notice due to extensive fence damage from a late season ice storm. The championship quality 9-hole, par 35, golf course is OPEN for business as usual.
All Courses are now OPEN for BUSINESS: This summer will be your last chance to play the historic Keller Golf Course (651-766-4170) before renovation next year. Look for exciting new changes in the food and beverage program as Lancer Catering takes over management of the Clubhouse. It is not too soon to book your event or golf tournament for the 2012 season. Keller Cafe will be opening Friday, April 13th.

Golf Courses

Goodrich – is an 18-hole, par 70, gently rolling, challenging recreational course in excellent condition. It has a quaint clubhouse with a 75-seat banquet with fireplace room and large outdoor patio overlooking the first tee and eighteenth green. (651) 748-2525

Keller – is an 18-hole, par 72, classic-style championship-quality golf course. It has been the home of several PGA and LPGA golf tournaments and was a regular stop on both professional tours. The historic and charming clubhouse can seat 100 guests during the golf season and 150 during the off-season. (651) 766-4170

Manitou Ridge – is a challenging 18-hole golf course for golfers of all ages and abilities. Ranging in length from 5,513 to 6, 422 yards, the par 71 layout features one of the highest points in Ramsey County. The modern clubhouse features a full-service golf shop with club repair, a snack bar and a full liquor lounge. (651) 777-2987

The Ponds at Battle Creek – is a championship quality 9-hole, par 35, golf facility with a significant practice/teaching range. This parkland prairie-style course features multiple tee placements to attract players of all skill levels. The farm-style clubhouse has both indoor and outdoor patio seating. NOTE: The 55-station lighted practice/driving range is CLOSED until further notice. A late season ice storm caused extensive damage to the fencing of the practice/driving range. (651) 501-6321

Island Lake Golf & Training Center – The 9-hole golf course and training center in Shoreview features 2,966 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 28. It’s beautifully landscaped and features ponds, a prominent driving range and mini-putt course. We provide excellent Golf Lessons and Junior Golf Camps. The Center has a complete snack bar with free coffee and cookies on Tuesday and Thursday mornings for Seniors! (651) 787-0383
