The lighted practice/teaching range was recently renovated to improve sighlines and distance markings. The range includes 50 natural grass hitting stations, and state of the art "Players Turf" artificial grass teeing surfaces when natural grass is not available to give you the highest quality practice available. Six target greens are laser distance checked to assure quality, course-like practice sessions. The separate chipping area can help you sharpen your short game and bunker play. Our Junior Golf Camps are a perfect way to introduce your youngster to golf or give him/her that extra boost to early golfing success. This "combo platter" of instruction and on-course play has seen tremendous growth since its beginning and many of the local high school players got their start in this program. It works for the new golfer and experienced juniors since the fundamentals remain the same no matter what your level. We focus on teaching the rules and etiquette, as well as the proper swing fundamentals to instill in each individual a love for the spirit of the game. We value, first and foremost, honesty, integrity, personal responsibility, honor and sportsmanship. Best of all, we make learning a fun experience and we feed the kids lunch everyday.
We host a fun Junior Golf League which runs throughout the summer. What makes our league unique is the on-course supervision by staff personnel trained by Greg Schulze. Weekly games and prizes add to the fun.
Practice Range and Practice Green
The practice range has 30 stations, combining natural grass and artificial turf, a cobblestone walkway, new high-tech practice mats and a nice short game area highlilghts our facility. We even offer lights for perfecting your game into the early evening. The practice green, located between the clubhouse and the first tee, is a two-tiered green with lots of undulations to challenge your "rolling skills." It's a perfect spot for a sporting game among friends or some quality short game practice for the individual wishing to improve his/her game.
