Scout Programs for Boys and Girls

Scout Logos Programs are designed to provide scouts with specialized natural history knowledge and hands-on experiences, but do not necessarily complete each badge. Often scouts need to do follow-up research or write about their experience. We suggest that all leaders have a review session at a future meeting to reinforce the badge requirements after attending a program.

Tamarack also provides a wealth of educational programs to meet the interests of a wide audience. Scout groups are encouraged to participate. Sample topics include apple cidering, maple syruping, bird banding and astronomy. Costs vary.

Learning to Serve, Serving to Learn

Tamarack Nature Center welcomes groups wishing to assist with trail maintenance, habitat restoration and monitoring projects. Contact the center for more projects and further information. Please call 651-407-5350.
