Business Waste Assistance Program
The Business Waste Assistance Program is a free, non-regulatory resource for businesses in Ramsey County.  This program can help your business with hazardous waste compliance issues, recycling, waste reduction and pollution prevention ideas.

Construction & Demolition Waste
Reduce your construction & demolition waste.  Recycle, donate or resell items.  Keep your construction & demolition (C&D) load "clean" by keeping mixed municipal solid waste (MSW) out.

County Environmental Charge (CEC)
The County Environmental Charge (CEC) is a volume based fee assessed by licensed haulers to Ramsey County residents and businesses.  The intent of the CEC is to provide an incentive to reduce waste, and increase recycling, composting, and other waste reduction methods.

Food Establishment Info
A food service establishment is any location (except churches) or vehicle where food is prepared, offered, or served to the public with or without charge.  Serving food to the public normally requires a Ramsey County license.

Hazardous Waste
Businesses that generate, treat, store, dispose or recycle hazardous waste must have a Ramsey County license and follow certain management standards.

Lodging & Camps
Lodging establishments, including hotels, motels, lodging houses and resorts, and youth camps, including children's camps, normally require a Ramsey County license.

Manufactured Home Parks
Manufactured Home Parks are defined in the Ramsey County Manufactured Home Parks and Recreational Camping Areas Ordinance, and typically include manufactured homes and recreational vehicles.  A Ramsey County license is normally required.

Passports
We offer passport services in downtown St. Paul.  Apply for your passport early to ensure that you receive it in time.  If you have questions or special needs, please call ahead for assistance.

Resourceful Waste Management Guide
Learn about materials recycling and reuse options and find disposal options for materials that cannot be reused or recycled.

Smoke-Free Restaurants
Smoking is prohibited in most indoor public places and indoor places of employment in Minnesota as of Oct. 1, 2007.  The Freedom to Breathe Act describes where smoking is prohibited, outlines the responsibilities of proprietors and lists facilities and circumstances that are exempt from prohibitions.

Swimming Pools
Swimming pools are defined as any structure, chamber, or tank containing an artificial body of water for swimming, diving, relaxation, or recreational use.  This typically includes all public indoor and outdoor swimming pools, wading pools, diving pools, spas and water flumes.  A Ramsey County license is normally required.

Training
Ramsey County offers businesses a variety of training opportunities including food manager certification, hazardous waste management and pool operator certification.

Travel Immunizations
Travelling overseas for business may require special immunizations.  Our clinic offers consultations for professionals.

Wakanheza Project
The Wakanheza Project is a community-wide effort that provides tools and strategies to help us effectively respond in these every-day situations and prevent them from happening in the first place, by creating welcoming environments for our children, young people (teens), and families.

Waste Hauler Licensing
Learn how to get a waste hauler's license, what the County Environmental Charge (CEC) is about and the requirements to participate in the hauler rebate program.
