Adolescent Health: Promoting Healthy Youth Development
Resources are available for professionals working with youth - and the adults in their lives. Resources focus on positive youth development and healthy relationship development. SPRCDPH leads projects that focus on: creating welcoming places/communities for teens; teen pregnancy and sexual violence prevention; and supporting parents as the primary sexuality educators in the lives of children and teens.

Wakanheza Project
Wakanheza" is the Dakota word for child.  It literally means sacred being.  The Wakanheza Project teaches people how to reach out in stressful situations to be supportive and lend a hand. The principles of Wakanheza are based on practices that have been tried and tested-- and work.
