All businesses create waste that needs to be managed wisely.  The Business Waste Assistance Program is a no-cost, non-regulatory resource for businesses in Ramsey County.  This program can help your business with hazardous waste compliance issues, waste reduction and pollution prevention ideas.  Let us help you!

Recycling

  • Recycling and Waste Reduction Program
    Start a recycling and waste reduction program.  Recycling is not subject to the County Environmental Charge (CEC), a volume-based fee assessed on your trash. The current CEC rate is 53%.

Hazardous Waste

The Environmental Health program licenses and inspects both businesses that generate hazardous waste and those that treat, store, dispose or recycle hazardous waste from other businesses.  In addition, extensive business assistance is available, including training, on-site assistance, and waste reduction tips.
