Residents: Household Hazardous Waste (HHW)

Many household products you use to clean your kitchen and bathroom, maintain your car and home, and control animal and insect pests contain hazardous materials.  When these products are no longer needed or useful, they are considered household hazardous waste (HHW).

Other News & Information:

Environmental Health staff partnered with St Paul Fire Dept., MN Dept. of Labor and Industry and the MN Pollution Control Agency to offer environmental training to the County’s auto body shops.  Along with discussions on fire and workplace safety issues, air quality updates and hazardous waste compliance, the highlight of the training was a panel discussion by local industry representatives on their experiences in switching to water-based painting.  Take a minute to check out our presentations.

Waste disposal might just have gotten a little bit simpler for Ramsey County's Very Small Quantity Generators (VSQG)! A new VSQG collection program, located at Bay West, is now available.

For more information on licensing, invoicing, training, or other hazardous waste questions, call 651.266.1199 or ASK EH.
