2013-2014 Seasonal Flu Vaccine
This year's flu vaccine protects against the following three strains of flu:
A/Victoria/361/2011 (H3N2)-like and,
The nasal spray vaccine protects against this additional strain:
This year’s flu vaccine does NOT provide protection from H3N2v, a new influenza strain that people acquire primarily through contact with pigs.
Seasonal flu vaccine is available during our regularly scheduled walk-in immunization clinics (days and hours below) for anyone 6 months of age and older. A brief screening will be done to determine which vaccine is right for you. If you have insurance, please bring your card to the clinic. We will determine if we can bill your insurance company.
For those 6 months and older. For those who are uninsured or whose insurance does not cover immunizations, a $10.00 administration fee is requested. For others the cost is $25.00.
High Dose Vaccine
For those 65 years and older. The cost is $45.00. If you have Medicare it will be covered.
