The photo that receives the most repins and likes will receive a refurbished Sansui 26” flat screen TV, donated by MPC in Mendota Heights! In addition, weekly winners chosen at random will receive one of the following:
- Reusable tote bag
- Aluminum water bottle
- Chinook Book coupon book
- $25 Target gift card
Eligibility
While anyone can submit pins and vote for favorite pins on our Neighborhood Heroes board, prize recipients must live or work in Ramsey County, verifiable by address. Ramsey County employees and members of their families are not eligible to win.
How to Participate
Entries will be accepted from October 3, 2012 at 6:00 a.m. Central Time through November 14, 2012 at 11:59 p.m. Central Time.
All entries are submitted using Pinterest or an email to greenramseymn@gmail.com.
- Step 1: Follow@GreenRamsey on Pinterest. Email us at greenramseymn@gmail.com and we will grant you access to pin to our GreenRamsey Neighborhood Heroes community board.
- Step 2: From October 1-November 14, 2012 pin or repin a photo that celebrates ways to keep the community green via recycling, reusing, composting, sending food leftovers to a farm, or participation in Ramsey County’s household hazardous waste or yard waste collection programs.
- Step 3: Include the hashtags #GreenRamsey and #NeighborhoodHeroes in your pin description. You can also include a third hashtag that describes the pins category: #recycle, #reuse, #compost, #foodtofarms.
- Note: If you are not on Pinterest and don’t wish to join, no problem. Simply email your image with a caption and hashtags to greenramseymn@gmail.com and we will add your pin it to the GreenRamsey Neighborhood Heroes community board.
Winner Selection
Weekly winners will be selected at random and will be notified via the email address used to submit their entry. An entrant may only be selected as a random winner once and must provide an address in Ramsey County where the prized can be mailed.
The grand prize of the refurbished 26” flat screen TV will be awarded to the entrant whose pin receives the most repins and likes. The winner will need to pick up the TV in person within 5 business days of notification at 2785 White Bear Avenue North in Maplewood.
Requirements and Disclaimers
Entries must not display any commercial or corporate advertising (including but not limited to corporate logos, brand names, slogans, political, personal and religious statements or copyrighted or trademarked material) as determined by Green Ramsey, in its sole discretion. Entries must not be offensive in nature.
GreenRamsey is not responsible for any changes or effects caused by or to the entrant’s computer system as a result of submitting electronic entries.
GreenRamsey is not responsible for entries that cannot be processed due to phone, network, electronic or computer hardware or software failure, or technical failures of any kind.
GreenRamsey reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or website; violates these Official Rules; or acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner at any time during the Contest, or with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. By submitting your entry, you accept all Official Rules. Entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the account holder if there is any dispute.
