The Property Records and Revenue department (PR&R) has been proud to provide property valuation, auditing, document recording, and election services to the people of Ramsey County since 1849. Today, we serve over 500,000 citizens in
more than 163,000 residential and commercial properties.

PR&R's offices are located across the river from and one-half mile south of Downtown St. Paul, one block west of the
corner of Plato Boulevard and Wabasha Street.  Metro Transit bus routes 62 and 75 connect to Downtown St. Paul at the
corner of Plato and Wabasha.

Closed on Saturday, Sunday and Holidays

Department Divisions/Sections

Property Tax Services (Auditor/Treasurer)
Property Tax Service staff process tax payments (current and delinquent), provides the public with information on tax processes and issues county licenses for precious metals, auctioneers, and transient merchants.

County Assessor
The Assessor's Office evaluates and classifies all real property in the county, and determines property tax relief and exemptions.

Homestead Services
Homestead Services answers questions and provides information about the homestead program, which reduces property taxes for owner-occupied homes, as well as homes occupied by disabled persons, veterans, and seniors.

Recorder and Registrar of Titles
The Recorder's Office electronically preserves land ownership records for all property in Ramsey County.

Tax Forfeited Land (TFL)

The Elections Office administers county elections and absentee voting, trains elections judges, maintains voter registration records and polling places.  It also serves as the elections office for the cities of St. Paul and Falcon Heights, and for the St. Paul, Roseville, and Mounds View school districts.
