Highway 36 and Rice Street Interchange Study
Ramsey County, Minnesota Department of Transportation, the City of Roseville and surrounding communities are working on a solution for improvements to the Rice Street/Highway 36 interchange to address existing and future safety and operational deficiencies.
Proposed reconstruction of Rice Street from County Road B to County Road B-2 is continuing to make progress. All necessary right of way for the project has been acquired. The consultant completed final design plans in April, 2010. Bids will be accepted and the bid opening is anticipated to take place in May, 2010. Staff expects construction of the project to begin in late June, 2010. Proposed reconstruction of Rice Street from County Road B to County Road B-2 is continuing to make progress. White Bear Avenue and County Road D
Ramsey County, in cooperation with the Minnesota Department of Transportation and the City of Maplewood, is proposing to reconstruct White Bear Avenue from Radatz Avenue to County Road D including a portion of County Road D west of White Bear Avenue. The overall White Bear Avenue project has been separated into two projects in which County Road D from Flandrau Street to White Bear Avenue is one project, and White Bear Avenue from County Road D to Radatz Avenue is a separate project. The two projects will be constructed simultaneously during the construction season of 2010. County Road D is expected to be completed in 2010, where White Bear Avenue will continue into 2011. Warner Road Bridge Reconstruction Project
Ramsey County, in cooperation with the City of St. Paul, is proposing to reconstruct the eastbound Warner Road Bridge over Childs Road. The westbound bridge is to remain in place. Ramsey County is currently working on the preliminary engineering phase of the project. The project is planned for construction in 2010.
Highway 96/US 10 Grade Separation and Highway Improvement Project in Arden Hills
Ramsey County, Minnesota Department of Transportation, the City of Arden Hills and surrounding communities have been working on a solution for the Highway 96/US Highway 10 intersection for several years. As of this date, the project is on schedule for a May 1, 2011 construction start with completion occurring in Fall 2012. More Information
Rice Street (County Road B2 to Little Canada Road) Reconstruction Project
Ramsey County, in cooperation with the City of Roseville and City of Little Canada, is proposing to reconstruct Rice Street from County Road B2 to Little Canada Road. Ramsey County is currently working on the preliminary engineering phase of the project. The project is tentatively scheduled for construction in 2012.
Highway 49/Rice Street/Hodgson Road Reconstruction Project
Ramsey County, in cooperation with the City of Shoreview, is proposing to reconstruct Rice Street/Hodgson Road. Ramsey County is currently working on the preliminary engineering phase of the project. The project is deferred for construction to 2012 at the request of Shoreview.
