Ad for Bid - White Bear Ave Concrete Rehabilitation
Bid opening date for the project is July 27, 2011 at 2:00 pm. (White Bear Ave Concrete Rehabilitation)
White Bear Avenue is scheduled to be repaired between White Bear Ct and County Rd F. The work will consist of repairing pavement joints and cracks and replacing damaged concrete panels. The road surface will undergo diamond grinding to improve smoothness. Pedestrian curb ramps will be replaced to conform with current standards. The work should begin in the spring of 2012.
Maryland Avenue at Rice Street
Improvements to Maryland Avenue at Rice Street are scheduled for construction in 2012. The improvements include widening Maryland Avenue to allow for left turn lanes to northbound and southbound Rice Street. The County is currently planning to start construction in May 2012.

Maryland Avenue at Prosperity Street

Maryland Avenue is now completely open.
The only major item remaining is the new signal system. It should be up and running the first week in November.
