Citizen Civil Defense Corps

About the Citizens Civil Defense Corps Program

The Citizen Civil Defense Corps (CCDC) Program partners active volunteers and retired members of public safety organizations with the graduates of the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) for coordinated responses to emergencies.  Comprised of individuals with diverse professional backgrounds in law enforcement, fire fighting, emergency medical services, and emergency communications, the Citizen Civil Defense Corps provides training to sharpen the skills of these professionals to ensure the necessary support in the event of an emergency.

Requirements

Citizen Civil Defense Corps members must be active, volunteer, or retired members from a public safety organization.  Members are also encouraged to attend voluntary monthly training meetings, September through the following May.
