WIC (Women, Infants and Children) Program
WIC (651.266.1300) is a nutrition education program that provides vouchers for free, nutritious foods for pregnant, breastfeeding, and postpartum women, and for infants and children up to the fifth birthday.  Participants in the WIC Program also receive a health assessment, strong support for breastfeeding, and referrals to services in their neighborhood.  WIC has bilingual staff and access to telephone translation services.

WIC Has Openings...Spread the Word
Do you have friends or family members who could use help stretching their food dollars with a nutritious food package from WIC?  If you know somebody who is pregnant or has an infant or child under the age of five, tell them about WIC!  Call 651.266.1300 for more information.

To receive WIC benefits, a participant must have a health need that nutrition education and WIC foods can help. The household income must also fall within certain guidelines.  Many people work and still qualify for WIC.
